Root n Rise Wellness Coaching ("Root n Rise," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, safeguard, and retain personal information through this website and in connection with inquiries about our private wellness coaching services.
Information we may collect
We may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, telephone number, country, time zone, preferred contact method, scheduling availability, coaching interests, goals, referral source, and the contents of messages you send to us.
During an established coaching relationship, clients may voluntarily discuss health, lifestyle, stress, habits, or other sensitive matters. We collect only information reasonably necessary to provide the agreed coaching services and maintain appropriate business records.
Please do not submit medical records, diagnoses, medication lists, insurance information, government identification numbers, financial account information, or emergency details through the public website form or ordinary email.
How we use information
We may use personal information to respond to inquiries, determine whether coaching may be a suitable service, schedule and provide coaching, communicate with clients, maintain records, process payments through third-party providers, secure and improve the website, prevent misuse, enforce agreements, and comply with applicable law.
Website forms, email, and service providers
The website may use service providers for hosting, email delivery, scheduling, videoconferencing, payment processing, document storage, security, and similar business functions. These providers may process limited personal information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy practices. We seek to use reputable providers and configure services with privacy and security in mind.
The public contact form is intended only for non-clinical inquiries. Email and internet transmissions cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Health information and HIPAA
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) applies only when an organization is a covered entity or is acting as a business associate of a covered entity. A private wellness coaching practice is not automatically subject to HIPAA solely because clients may discuss health-related topics.
Root n Rise uses privacy-conscious administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personally identifiable information and health-related information in its possession. When Root n Rise is legally acting as a business associate for a HIPAA-covered entity, the applicable business associate agreement and HIPAA requirements govern the protected health information involved. Nothing in this policy should be interpreted as a representation that every website message, ordinary email, or independent coaching communication is protected by HIPAA.
Disclosure of information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to service providers that support our operations; when authorized or directed by you; to protect rights, safety, or property; to investigate misuse; in connection with a business reorganization; or when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process.
Cookies and browser storage

Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to provide services, maintain appropriate professional and business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, insurance, or recordkeeping requirements. You may ask us to provide information about the personal information we maintain about you, or request correction or deletion, subject to identity verification and applicable legal, contractual, tax, insurance, professional, safety, and recordkeeping exceptions. We will evaluate and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law.

Children and minors
This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Root n Rise does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Coaching involving a minor requires appropriate parent or legal guardian involvement and a separate written agreement.
International visitors
If you access the site from outside the United States, you understand that information may be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

We may update this policy when our practices, services, vendors, or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
